MCL Cafeteria in Columbus

Great food and great service. Very pleasant dining room. Just like good home cooking, which is rare these days!

Was very rude at counter, would not give me a meat pushed me down the line. They didn't give me a blue plate special. Even when my brother-in-law went back and confronted the manager she refused to make it good. The server at the table was incredibly nice though. His name is Bashkim and he gets a 5 of out 5.

Good prices and menu selections in a quiet, comfortable atmosphere.

What a great place to dine..the last of remaining cafeteria chains in Columbus..their food is fantastic..I will travel 15-20 miles to dine here..very consistent every time..here is their liver n onions served on Thursdays..their tomato soup is wonderful..served on Tuesdays

Hmm. Felt sick the last vouple of times here. Will not return.

Great down to Earth place to grab dinner. Hit them up in the spring for all you can eat catfish.

MCL is one of those love it or hate it places.It is a cafeteria line (look at the name!), so to some it seems odd having to grab a tray.This is not an all-you-can-eat, nor is it a "pay per tray" joint. Every item has a cost and they do add up if you are not paying attention, but the food is very good quality and the selection is quite large.The staff walking around to top off the drinks are always friendly and attentive.My wife and I always enjoy eating here.

A great place to go for a good meal. Between the main dish, and two sides along with plenty of bread, salad, dessert plus a drink at a pretty decent price makes us a great place to go

A large variety of food. Servers were helpful and friendly. Very easy to over spend.

Love this place, prices have been raised since the last time I was there. But good food!! Good deserts and salads!!

Lots of parking. Great service staff, cashier's, servers, etc. ,Hot delicious food that is fresh, tasty and not overly seasoned. I drive across town just for the liver and onions and the best, freshly brewed ice tea. A great value!!!

Great food here! Just like a home cooked meal. It's never crowded and the service is really attentive and nice.

I eat at this MCL at least once each month because one of my communities, Humanist Community of Central Ohio [HCCO], holds its "Last-Saturday Supper" event on the last Saturday of each month, 5:00-7:00 p.m., usually in the private dining room [unless that room is being used right then].The MCL staff is consistently welcoming and helpful and provides a wonderful location for this monthly community gathering.And the food at MCL is always delicious.
